Ingredients
1 Kg Baby Octopus
Olive Oil
3 Garlic cloves
2 Red Chillis
Lemon
Shelley’s BBQ’d Garlic and Chilli Octopus

Prep: 30 mins
Cook time: 10 mins
- Place octopus in bowl and add 1/4 cup olive oil
- Chop up 3 cloves of fresh garlic
- Cop 2 red chillies ( depending on your heat add less or more)
- Mix all ingredients together and let marinade for a minimumĀ of half an hour
- Heat bbq grill or heavy based frypan add until quite hot
- Just before adding octopus to heat squeeze 1/2 a lemon over octopus
and stir - Cook on high heat in small batches ( so it doesn’t stew ) turning so all sides are chargrilled
- Plate up either with salad or rice and ENJOY!
